Interlude Party

During a festival from Resembool Hohenheim converses with a young Pinako, who asks him why he remains closed from all the villagers. In the same time, he faces a demon identical to him talks to him about the humans' weakness, as the story so far is recapped. In the end, Hohenheim finds encouragement from a young Trisha, and he wakes up to discover it was all a dream as a result of drinking too much alcohol.

For the Sake of Pride! Byakuya vs. Renji

The shinigami discuss Byakuya's betrayal, and the discovery that if a zanpakuto is killed by anyone other than its owner, it will be unusable. Byakuya returns to the zanpakutos' hideout, and proves his loyalty by defeating and seemingly killing Sode no Shirayuki, leaving Rukia unable to use her zanpakuto. Rukia and Renji investigate Byakuya's office, but Byakuya arrives with Senbonzakura, tossing Rukia the broken remains of her zanpakuto. Zabimaru arrives to help Renji fight Byakuya and Senbonzakura, but they are overpowered and several zanpakuto, including Tenken, Houzukimaru, Wabisuke, Rurio Kujaku and Gonryomaru, arrive. The Second Division surrounds the zanpakuto, the zanpakutos' owners come out to fight them, and Ichigo confronts Byakuya.

Gundam Meisters

The three major world bodies discuss the possible origins and impact of Celestial Being. The Gundams made their first combat appearance in Ceylon (formerly Sri Lanka) where Lockon Stratos leads the Gundams in taking on the Human Reform League and rebel Sri Lankan forces. Meanwhile, JNN reporter Kinue Crossroad stumbles upon Aeolia Schenberg's origins and Union Ace Graham Aker ambushes Gundam Exia's pilot Setsuna F. Seiei to sate his curiosity about the Gundams.

Celestial Being

Celestial Being, a private organization dedicated to eradicating war, begins demonstrating the power of their new "Gundam" mobile suits by interrupting the public demonstration of AEU's latest unit, the AEU Enact. Setsuna F. Seiei, piloting the Gundam Exia, easily disables the AEU Enact, piloted by Patrick Colassaur. Pursuing the Exia, the AEU reveals hidden mobile suits in the Space Elevator, and in a separate operation, Celestial Being protects the Human Reform League's Space Elevator, "Tenchu" from being attacked by terrorists attempting to launch rockets upon it. Their actions garner global attention and various TV news channels soon broadcast a public statement by Aeolia Schenberg stating that Celestial Being's goal is to eradicate conflict from the face of the Earth.

Infiltrate! The Village Hidden in the Rain & The Man Who Became God

Jiraiya succesfully infiltrates a village in the Country of Rain, where he wanders around and speaks to inhabitants about their leader, Pain. Unsuccesful in gathering information he captures two ninja of the city in a frog's stomach, who tell him the mysterious Pain has defeated the former leader of Rain, Hanzo. Meanwhile Pain orders Konan to search for the intruder for which she transforms in origami papers. Jiraiya faces off Konan while Pain is on his way. When Pain arrives, they discuss Pain's personal ideology and Akatsuki's goals. Pain, who is convinced Jiraiya is to die anyway, reveals the collection of the Tailed Beasts was in order to create a destruction jutsu which could wipe away entire nations, so that the world would "mature" and develop aversion for war. Finishing their talk, Pain summons a crustacean to attack Jiraiya, who defeats it and calls upon a giant frog in opening of their battle.

Byakuya's Betrayal

Mayuri experiments on Gegetsuburi, and discovers that the zanpakuto only return to their owners' control if they are defeated by their owners. Momo and Rangiku send their zanpakutos back to the 4th division barracks, but the cart carrying them is attacked by an unknown assailant. Ichigo meets with Momo and Rangiku, then reaches Muramasa, who is having difficult using his abilities in his current body. Ichigo fights Senbonzakura, and gains the upper hand before Byakuya arrives. Byakuya reveals that he has joined Muramasa as part of following his internal desire to uphold his pride, then attacks Ichigo.

A mysterious spiritual particle explosion occurs in the center of Seireitei in Soul Society, causing it to be destroyed. At the exact same time, a major change overwhelms Kuchiki Rukia, which leaves her losing something important inside. UraharaKisuke sends Kurosaki Ichigo to Soul Society to investigate the disturbance. Upon reaching Seireitei, Ichigo is set upon and attacked by shinigamis, once allies, who haveno memory of he and Rukia. Now alone and on the run, Ichigo must find the missing Rukia and uncover the cause of the mysterious incident before it's too late.

The Awakening Hyōrinmaru! Hitsugaya's Fierce Fight

Ichigo is still trapped in the ice prison Hyorinmaru imprisoned him in as Tōshirō and Hyorinmaru confront each other. Meanwhile, Momo and Rangiku fight their zanpakutō in the woods and finally manage to overpower them with kido spells. As Hyorinmaru and Tōshirō begin to fight, Tōshirō tries to seal him but is shocked as Hyorinmaru effortlessly dissolves the seal into fragments of ice. As their fight continues, Hyorinmaru's tremendous power turns the whole of Soul Society's sky black. Toushiro began to recall his past during his first encounter with Hyorinmaru to convince him. Tōshirō managed to activate Hyorinmaru's shikai, thus managed to convince Hyorinmaru that Tōshirō is his master. Despite freezing himself along with his zanpakuto and losing consciousness, Tōshirō manages to convince Hyorinmaru of his identity.

Reunion

Ed and Lin face off against Envy, and Ed finds himself hesitating to attack due to all the people embedded into Envy's body and gets swallowed. Meanwhile, Scar and May find Shao May with Al and Gluttony and decide to follow them down to an underground tunnel, fighting off several chimeras. Ed spots the Philosopher's Stone inside Envy and manages to figure out a way to escape from Gluttony after seeing the missing piece from the ruins of Xerxes. Bradley explains to Roy how he was trained from birth for leadership and was injected with the Philosopher's Stone. Using various pieces of the Xerxes ruins found in Gluttony's stomach, Ed reuluctantly uses the souls inside Envy's stone to transmute himself and open the Door of Truth to escape through. Ed finds Al's body but is unable to bring it back since it isn't his. However, before the Door closes, he bursts through yelling to Al's body that he will come back to get him someday.

Doorway of Darkness

Ed and Lin find themselves in a dark place, realising they're inside Gluttony's stomach, and try to find a way out. May is worried about Xiao Mei, explaining to Yoki about their circumstances, so Scar decides to help search for her. Ed and Lin are approached by Envy, who explains that Gluttony was a failed attempt at recreating the Door of Truth and there is no exit. Envy also reveals he was the one who started the Ishbalan war, before transforming into a giant beast. Meanwhile, Al gets Gluttony to take him to Father, who is apparently in Central, and Bradley gets leverage over Roy by transferring his men to various headquarters and assigning Riza as his personal assistant, effectively making her his hostage.

Tales of a Gutsy Ninja ~Jiraiya Ninja Scroll~ Part 2

Due to the Third Great Ninja War, Jiraiya, Tsunade and Orochimaru are to the Hidden Rain Village, where they are named the "Legendary Sannin" by Hanzo of the Great Salamander. While in the village, Jiraiya meets with Yahiko, Nagato and Konan who request help from him. Jiraiya accepts and proceeds to train them before returning home. He is later informed that all three children were killed. Some time later, Jiraiya trains Minato, who together with Kushina, names their unborn son "Naruto" after the main character in Jiraiya's first book.

Some soldiers break in to find Robin, smashing Soran's pictures in an attempt to determine her location, and Robin is captured. She learns that she is on an island full of prisoners and citizens of countries that refused to join the World Government, and that she and the others are being forced to build a bridge. Meanwhile, Usopp finds himself on Bowin Island, an island full of man-eating plants, with a man named Heracles.

Chopper lands on an island known as Birdie Kingdom, and finds himself in the nest of two large birds who play with him before accidentally dropping him into the forest below. While searching for food to regain his strength, some residents of the island capture him. When they leave to shoo away the birds after an unsuccessful attempt at stealing their nest, Chopper escapes the pot and realizes that the birds rule the island. Sanji finds himself on Peachy Island, seemingly entirely populated by beautiful women, and someone named Elizabeth nurses him until he wakes up. He goes to Elizabeth's house to return a hankerchief, only to find that Elizabeth is actually a male transvestite, and begins desperately running when the island's residents attempt to get him to cross-dress.

Beyond The Heart's Darkness

The second exam resumes for the remaining trainees and comes in the worst form imaginable: the physical realisation of their deepest fears. When someone fails to overcome their fears, they fall through the bridge and fail. Teito gets to face his biggest enemy, Ayanami in the flesh. After charging blindly at Ayanami, Teito gets to see visions of the hurt and pain he caused Mikage and his family. Meanwhile, Hakuren finds his hated father on the ground with an unknown person in a black cape and weapon standing over him. Hakuren sees a vision of his father telling him he is no longer his son if he joins the church. The grim reaper tells Hakuren they should finish his father's pathetic, heartless life. The constant talking about Hakuren finally gets to Teito who is starting to blame himself for everything he has done to his best friend. When Ayanami charges at him, he is petrified and unable to move to dodge the attack and gets impaled by Ayanami's sword. Finally, the last trainees that haven't failed yet find the strength to face their fears. Hakuren saves his father and forgives him. Teito on the other hand is starting to go in shock. Some of the examinators worry for his life and urge bishop Lance to terminate the examn. It is then when Teito figures out that his real enemy is not Ayanami but himself, the part of him that is blaming himself for getting Mikage killed.
When Teito is ready and attempts to leave the second examination, the rest of the church gets invaded by the imperial army. And when Teito opens the door to exit the examination room, he finds himself in a dark, underground corridor instead of the exit. After a few seconds someone walks from the darkness towards Teito and this time, it is the real Ayanami who is standing in front of him...

Led By The Light In The Water's Depth, He Spies Upon...

After passing the first examn, Teito and Hakuren get to see the progress of others and how some fumble at the last challenge when their greedy nature makes them fail. Teito and Hakuren learn that the old guys they helped before were in fact Former Assistant Archbishops who tagged along to asses the progress of the participants. Meanwhile, the protectors of the church prepare for a dark threat as the military advances towards the church. Teito and Hakuren go to Lazet, the mermaid, as the Former Assistant Archbishops suggested and she takes them to a inner sanctuary where Teito gets to see his father and Father, the priest who raised him. He got told to never forget who he is, the Prince of Raggs Kingdom. Afterwards, they hurry back to the courtyard where bishop Lance is impatiently waiting for them. The second part of the examn is a challenge to face their inner daemons inside a room. They pass when they come out the other door. Hakuren starts of by defeating a gigantic Wars and Teito faces his biggest enemy: Ayanami in the flesh...

Therefore, You Pass Through The Door Of The Defeated

The military found out about the Eye of Mikhail and its master, Teito, and decide to search for him. Teito finds out that his Zaiphon seems to have been drained since the leaving of the Eye of Mikhail. One of his friends gives Teito some of his energy to allow him to be able to continue. After the examn starts, all the aspirant bishops enter the first hall. This chamber uses the fear in peoples hearts to hold them down, after Teito gathers his resolve he manages to walk out as one of the first. The next challenge is to answer questions in several rooms using their Zaiphon while trying to stay alive. Halfway through the examn, Teito decides to help the old men to cross the rope bridge. Finally they reach the last challenge: the challenge states that only one of them can pass through the door of Victor and the other has to use the door of the Defeated. After fighting each other, the winner has to write his name on the wall before passing through the door of the Victor. After arguing about it, they both run off through the door of the Defeated. After passing, a voice inquires why they choose this door and Hakuren replies: "Nobody has been defeated and nobody has won" at which point Teito says: "I'm just here to be with my friend". Bishop Lance appears and tells them that their selfless solution made them pass.
